If you haven’t seen “Police Squad,” you’re missing out. Above is the “epilogue” scenes with fake freeze-frames that closed out each episode.
“His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still.” - Michelle Williams
check out this story! It’s about my girlfriends best friend, and it just gets me thinking of all the people that have made that much impact in my life. I can’t even imagine loosing any of them. She is so incredibly strong :)
Today is the 9th anniversary that my best friend passed away. On October 16th 2001, he was walking to the bus stop and a van hit him. He went flying in the air and paramedics said he had a lot of brain damage/swelling of the brain as well. He was put on life support, because the swelling of the brain never healed. His parents took him off life support October 19th 2001.
My life will never be the same again. He had an amazing heart and the funniest person ever. He was my first boyfriend that I loved, my first kiss, and my first dance with a boy. I love him dearly and I think about him everyday. And I saved all of his letters, drawings (plan on a tattoo of his weird drawing one day), blink 182 bunny he got me (sleeping with tonight), and just all the stuff that involved him. It’s called my Ross box. His parents gave me the goosebumps shirt he’s wearing above, his leather jacket, and a bracelet of his. I do already have a tattoo in memory of him, my grandmother, and grandfather.
He will always be in my heart. He visits me in my dreams sometimes and he told me last time that he visits me more than anyone else and that he’s with me a lot. His old house is a nursing home now, and he told me in my dream that that is where he likes to hangout. I think it’s to keep the old people happiness, company, and know that it’s okay to pass on. :) That’s my Ross. I love you. <33333333
“Heath Ledger gave it to me. In “Monster’s Ball,” that character that he created, it seemed to be almost like an unformed being, retreating from themselves, retreating from his father, from his life, even retreating from us, and yet we wanted to follow him, and yet we’re scared to follow him almost. It was unique. And then, of course, in “Brokeback Mountain,” he was unique, he was perfect. And that scene in the trailer, at the end of the film is as moving as anything that I think I’ve ever seen. And i’d like to dedicate this to Heath Ledger. So, thank you very much.” - Daniel Day Lewis

Even in the small roles like in “True Grit,” he shined. He would always put everything he had into every role that he did, and he was truly inspirational as an actor, and photographer. Thanks Dennis for the wonderful years. RIP
rest in peace dennis hopper! :[
